The boilerplate

Copy-ready — use as-isPuzzlePup makes natural dog supplements, handmade treats, and enrichment — started in a Minnesota kitchen by founder Mike O’Brien for his own service dog, Normie, after he couldn’t find products he trusted. Every recipe follows one rule: if Normie won’t eat it, we won’t sell it. A portion of every order supports Helping Paws, the Minnesota nonprofit that trained Normie and places assistance dogs at no cost to people with disabilities and veterans.

The story

PuzzlePup began because founder Mike O’Brien — who lives with a congenital heart condition — couldn’t find treats, supplements, and enrichment he trusted for his service dog, Normie. So he made his own at his kitchen table, with simple, filler-free ingredients he could actually pronounce. Normie was trained by Helping Paws, and a portion of every PuzzlePup order goes back to them to help train the next dog. The brand is still small-batch and Minnesota-made.
